Frequently Asked Questions:

By entering River City Toy Fest, all attendees agree to have their photos taken by River City Toy Fest volunteer staff for promotional purposes. River City Toy Fest agrees not to use the photos in any other manner besides promotion and not to sell the photos to any third party.

Photography is allowed and encouraged! However, if someone does not wish their picture to be taken, please refrain from photographing them.  Also, if you need to take a picture, be quick
about it and do not block hallways or entrances.

Please keep your hands to yourself. If you would like to take a picture with or of a cosplayer ask first and respect that person's right to say no. When at River City Toy Fest, be respectful, be nice, be cool and be kind to each other.

At River City Toy Fest, we pride ourselves on being an all-ages convention. We encourage all guests to bring their kids or young friends without having to worry about adult programming or material.

However, the convention space will become very crowded and it is recommended that an adult accompany all minors at all times. If you should have a problem with a lost child, please contact any staff and they will help in any way they can.

We know that a convention is about having a good time, but for our attendees safety, disruptive behavior will not be tolerated, such as fighting/sparring (fake or real, including sword swinging), heckling, impeding traffic flow, offensive behavior, failure to observe basic hygiene, public inebriation (or similar intoxication), or any other failure to follow the rules.

River City Toy Fest can and will take action against any type of disruptive behavior, even beyond the behaviors mentioned. Attendees that cause these types of problems may be warned, asked to leave, or even face inquiries from the police (depending on severity).

Attendees of River City Toy Fest attend at their own risk. River City Toy Fest takes no responsibility for any damages incurred to property or person of guests, artists, dealers, or attendees. Smoking is not permitted inside the building, this includes e-cigarettes and vaping. Offensive or revealing attire is not permitted. Please refer to the Dress Code policies listed below.

Shoes are required to be worn inside the Vicksburg Convention Center.

Pets are not allowed in any event space in the Vicksburg Convention Center (please contact individual hotels for any pets-in-guest-rooms policies), with the exception of service animals.

There will be a Lost and Found bin at the River City Toy Fest merchandise booth during the show for any items (comics, vintage and modern toys and collectibles, etc.) that are recovered so be sure to stop by if you’ve lost or found something.

Restrooms are in the hall off the lobby.

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Most vendors will be able to take both cash or card transactions on purchases, however, we recommend having cash if wifi signals are unclear or if a vendor’s card processing capabilities are limited.

  • Bring cash – you never know when you’ll need it!

  • Wear comfortable shoes – you’ll be walking a lot and you’ll need them!

  • Stay hydrated – it is easy to overlook when you’re having a good time!

  • Don’t be afraid to interact with people – this is a social event so enjoy it!

  • Most importantly, HAVE FUN!!!
